When I was a wee little, I can remember people asking me what I wanted to be when I grew up. My response was always the same: "I want to be a nurse or a jockey". I continued to grow, and well, I got too big to become a jockey! So, nurse it was.
I have been an RN for 17 years, and I am currently certified in Basic Life Support (BLS), as well as Pediatric Advance Life Support (PALS), so your little ones will be in pretty safe hands with me.
In mid 2016, I decided to add photography into the mix. Throughout my nursing career, it became quite obvious how precious those snapshots in life truly are. I began to "focus" on what many of us take for granted. It started with the beautiful details in flower petals and the fur on my puppy's nose, then that fascination turned to love in capturing the littlest details that are gone all too quickly in the tiniest, newest members of our families. Ahhh, the details! They are magical, aren't they? Those downy soft furry backs. Teeny tiny fingernails and milk bumps on a nose- rolls and wrinkles for days!!
